Borescope Inspection
The TKS Pro borescope inspection (BI) is conducted to assess the condition of the internal components of your gas turbine without the need for disassembly.
By performing a borescope inspection, you can evaluate the current state of your equipment and plan maintenance or repairs accordingly. This proactive approach increases turbine availability, minimizes downtime, and reduces repair costs. Skipping this inspection could lead to failures and dangerous situations. Depending on the gas turbine model, a scheduled borescope inspection is recommended every 4,000 to 8,000 hours or annually (whichever comes first) to prevent potential issues.
How it Works
A borescope is an optical device that can be inserted into your gas turbine without disassembly. Using a flexible tube with a camera at the end, our skilled engineers can navigate through the turbine’s tight spaces. The high-quality images captured reveal even the smallest imperfections. Our BI report details the condition of each part of your gas turbine, complete with photographic evidence. This information serves as a reliable basis for your maintenance decisions.
This type of inspection allows us to identify potential problems before they lead to serious damage or a complete shutdown of your power plant.
Repair/Engine Exchange
Our field engineers can repair or replace damaged parts on-site. If the damage is extensive or the repair time is prolonged, we can perform an engine exchange and repair your gas turbine in our workshop, equipped to handle all types of Aeroderivative and Heavy Duty gas turbines.

Service Agreements (LTSA, MYA, FWA)
